When it comes to structures for PV systems on flat roofs, versatility is one of the essential requirements: all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts have been developed to ensure maximum flexibility, both during design and installation, and – thanks to the combination of support and ballast in a single element – they ensure quick and easy installation on all types of flat roofs.

The nearly 20 kWp PV system visible in the photo was installed by our customer Z&B Impianti on the flat roof of a small warehouse in Brescia, and thanks to Sun Ballast’s Single-row 10° system, installation was quick and easy. The ballasts are available in numerous versions – from 0° to 30° of inclination – and allow the photovoltaic panels to be fixed both horizontally and vertically: a great advantage, which allows even panels of different sizes to be handled safely (as can be seen in the photos).

These features, combined with the possibility of freely adjusting the distance between rows, make the Single-row system extremely flexible and versatile, and ensure quick installation even when there are obstacles on the roof. The absence of complex accessories such as casings, bars, profiles or components to be assembled also further reduces installation time, simplifying all assembly and installation operations.
