A photovoltaic system capable of producing up to 150 kWp of clean energy was built on the flat roof of an industrial warehouse thanks to the use of supports for photovoltaic modules from the Connect 10 ° system by Sun Ballast.
The Connect system consists of concrete ballasts connected to each other, a front ballast, a central ballast and a terminal, which form a single network of solid and very wind resistant supports. Sun Ballast has carried out tests in fluid dynamics laboratories that certify the high wind resistance, in some cases values even higher than 150 km / h have been reached.
In addition, this system is ideal for sheathing roofing used on industrial warehouses due to its protective and waterproofing characteristics. The loads on the roof with the Connect system remain limited and the weight, thanks to its shape, is distributed evenly over the entire surface. In addition, each of our systems does not require holes in the roof, they are simply placed, so as not to affect the protective characteristics of the sheath.
Our customer Tironi Impianti srl managed to install a solid and productive photovoltaic system in a completely satisfactory way.
