Sun Ballast photovoltaic weights can be successfully used on any type of flat surface, from industrial building roofs to flat roofs of houses and condominiums. This system was built using the East-West 3° photovoltaic panel structures, one of the many available versions: the system can indeed be composed with a wide range of weights – from 3° to 30° – depending on the type of system and building.

The use of Sun Ballast structures allows for the free positioning of the panels, adjusting the length and distance between rows, and guaranteeing a high level of productivity in every situation. The dual orientation of the modules not only makes the most of the available spaces but also increases the hours of exposure to sunlight, producing energy at a high and constant rate while simultaneously reducing the risk of shading.

Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic weights, those used for this system did not require any drilling, either on the roof or on the weight itself: the structures are designed to ensure maximum wind resistance without drilling the roof, and the presence of fastening bushings already inside the concrete makes the fastening of the panels much quicker.
