“Easy installation, system recommended” is the comment left by our customer SUNCITY S.R.L., who built this beautiful installation on the roof of a building entirely covered with gravel.
As you can see from the photos, the roof presents a multitude of factors to pay attention to.
Firstly, the surface is not exactly flat but has a slight inclination: this is not a problem for the Sun Ballast structures. Despite being designed to be ideal for flat surfaces, they can support even slight inclinations, up to 5°.
The second factor that cannot be underestimated is the large presence of obstacles. These are simple to avoid with Sun Ballast supports. Our Vela System also makes it easy to take advantage of the small spaces that are created between one obstacle and another and optimize the little space available.

In fact, the Vela system can be installed in a maximum of 3 consecutive rows but you can also choose to use the ballasts to make individual rows of panels, a great way to not waste any space.
Finally, the gravel surface is an element not to be underestimated during the installation of a plant. In this case too, Sun Ballast ballasts are the ideal answer: they can be installed on the gravel without any problem since they do not need to be fixed to the roof.
Even a 200 kWp plant can be easy to build with the right structures!
