An efficient, solid photovoltaic system installed quickly and easily: our customer Sonnergie AG built it in Kloten (Switzerland) on a flat gravel roof, and thanks to the Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel structures, the installation was completed swiftly and without complications.
The concrete ballasts of the 15° East-West system did not require any complex metal components or anchoring holes in the roof: the structures were simply placed on the covering layer under the gravel, ensuring quick installation and high resistance to all weather conditions. The East-West system is configurable – depending on requirements – with a wide range of Sun Ballast ballasts, varying in both inclination (from 3° to 30°) and height from the ground.
The East-West module arrangement also minimizes the sail effect and completely eliminates the distance between the rows, maximizing the use of available spaces and ensuring high and constant productivity for the system. Like all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts, those visible in the photo also contain M8 fixing inserts: this way, the hold of the clamps is even stronger and more durable, and panel installation becomes quick and secure.
