Installed along the beautiful seafront of Zadar, Croatia, by our client Solar Projekt, this photovoltaic system on the flat roof of a campsite was mounted using Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel supports. Thanks to their simplicity, the installation was completed quickly and without difficulties.

The photovoltaic ballasts require no roof penetration for anchoring and can be placed on any material. In this case, the structures were installed on a flat concrete roof with a dual East-West orientation. The concrete ballasts used in the Single Row system can be configured in numerous layouts, allowing free adjustment of both the row length and spacing, as well as the panel’s fixation side.

For this 400 kW photovoltaic plant, the modules were mounted in a landscape orientation (on the shorter side), and the system’s flexibility made it easy to manage various roof obstacles.
Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel supports, those used in this installation feature pre-inserted M8 bushings and a metal core for extra reinforcement. They are also compatible with a wide range of accessories, ensuring stability, wind resistance, and ease of mounting.
