The positioning of a photovoltaic system is a much discussed factor during design and installation, especially if you have limited space and if there are numerous obstacles on the surface.
With the Sun Ballast support structures, however, the problem does not arise as there is a system available that is the perfect solution to meet this need: the Vela system.
The Vela 11 ° system is precisely the one chosen by the Sun Ballast technical department for the installation made by our customer Solaire 17 on the flat roof of a house in France. The roof in question had recurring obstacles across its surface such as fireplaces and skylights, and space was very limited.
The Vela system, due to its shape in which the panels are installed consecutively one behind the other, is able to optimize spaces, leaving no free areas between one row of modules and the other that are usually left due to the shading, it is possible to install up to 20% more modules than a traditional system.
In this way, our customer was able to obtain a small but very efficient system for the available space, capable of producing up to 6.6 kwp of green energy.
