12 kWp
5°
This 12 kW photovoltaic system was installed by our client So-Watt Srl on a residential building under construction in Massa, Tuscany. Thanks to Sun Ballast’s support structures for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs, the installation was completed easily and quickly.
These concrete ballasts for photovoltaic systems do not require any roof penetration and can be freely moved to any point on the roof, effortlessly avoiding obstacles such as chimneys, skylights, and more.
The mounting system for photovoltaic panels used here, the Single-Row 5°, allows for flexible management of both the row length and the distance between rows, adjusting the system layout based on the specific features of the roof. The mounting structures of the Single-Row system come with tilt angles ranging from 0° to 30°, enabling the installation of modules either in portrait (long side) or landscape (short side).
This flexibility helps manage space and shading, optimizing the system’s performance. As with all Sun Ballast mounting systems for photovoltaic panels, the structures used here for the Single-Row 5° system feature integrated M8 fixation bushings, ensuring a simple, fast, and durable installation of the modules.
