On the beautiful shores of Lake Orta, our customer SMARTEC S.R.L. has created an equally beautiful system consisting of 50 photovoltaic modules and capable of producing up to 19.75 kwp of clean energy.

Thanks to the excellent technical support, provided by Sun Ballast, the structures of Connect System with 15 ° inclination have been selected, the ideal system to achieve the desired production objectives having in addition a low load on the roof and excellent wind resistance. Wind resistance, in particular, is a fundamental characteristic for areas, such as those near a lake, which are particularly exposed to air currents. For this reason it was decided to add, in the final part of each system, a windbreak cover useful for maximizing the overall wind resistance. The ballast of Connect system, like all other Sun Ballast structures, do not need to be fixed to the roof but simply rest on it. This makes them not only very quick and easy to install, but also particularly suitable for use on surfaces covered with gravel as in this case.
