The 52 kW photovoltaic system shown in the picture was installed in Triuggio (MB), Lombardy, by our client SDS & PRIMATEK S.r.l. using the Sun Ballast Connect 5° system. This simple, solid, and patented mounting system makes installation significantly easier and faster. The complete absence of roof penetration ensured that the protective characteristics of the membrane on the building coverage remained intact. Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures are simply placed on the surface, requiring no complex metal components for fixation.

The reticular system of the Connect mounting solution—where all photovoltaic ballasts are interconnected into a single collaborative network—achieves optimal weight distribution/load balance while ensuring high wind resistance. This design makes the installation extremely stable and secure, even when using large photovoltaic panels.

For this project, the No-Flex Kit was added, providing additional stability. The integration of an extra ballast and a special steel bracket secures the panels at two additional central points, fully adhering to support parameters and eliminating the risk of central flexion. The Connect system is available with tilt angles ranging from 5° to 30° and is compatible with both the No-Flex Kit and additional U-Block weights, offering maximum flexibility for different installation needs.
