9 kWp
20°
This 9 kWp photovoltaic system on a flat roof was installed by our French client SAS IDEESYS on a residential building in Saint-Forgeux using Sun Ballast concrete mounts for solar panels. These mounting systems offer many advantages, starting with their simplicity: installation does not require any drilling on the roof, the M8 inserts are pre-installed in the concrete, and the installation is easy and quick on any flat surface (gravel, membrane, concrete, paving, etc.).
The Single-Row 20° system also allowed for easy adjustment of both the row length and the spacing between them, making installation faster and saving both time and labor costs. The ballasts of the Single-Row 20° system also allow the panels to be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientation, offering flexibility based on the system and building characteristics. In this case, the panels were mounted in landscape orientation, and stability and wind resistance were ensured by integrating the ballasts with the Cablowind system, the special concrete channel visible on the rear of the structures.
The installation of Cablowind also does not require any drilling, and the metal guides for the channel are fixed directly onto the inserts already present on the back of the ballasts. Usable as both an additional weight and a cable channel – and compatible with additional U-Block weights – Cablowind further strengthened the stability and reliability of the system, providing the end customer with the highest level of safety.
