Used in over 30 countries worldwide, Sun Ballast mounting systems for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs make the installation of photovoltaic systems much easier and faster. The concrete Ballasts for photovoltaics offer extremely high stability without the need for any roof penetration, ensuring an easy, fast, and secure installation.

The 29 kW photovoltaic system shown in the picture was installed by our customer Rehburg Elektrotechnik on the membrane-covered flat roof of a residential building garage in Petershagen (Germany). The use of the Connect 15° system allowed for weight distribution/load balancing in a perfectly even manner across the entire roof surface. In this mounting system, all support structures are interconnected in a single reticular system, redistributing the loads caused by environmental factors across the entire ballast network.

Like all Sun Ballast solutions, the ballasts that make up the Connect system – available in a range of tilt angles from 5° to 30° – already include M8 bushings for fixation and can be placed on any type of roof surface, whether pavement, gravel, green roof, or other materials.
