Installed in the south of France by our client Provence Eco Energia, this flat roof photovoltaic system was implemented on a large gravel-covered surface. Thanks to Sun Ballast’s 5° East-West system, the installation was easy, fast, and professional.
Requiring no fixing holes, Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic panel structures quickly rest on any type of surface (gravel, concrete, pavements, membranes, etc.), reducing installation times and facilitating all mounting phases. The system visible in the photo generates over 186 kWp of clean electricity, and to optimize all the space dedicated to the installation, the East-West system was selected: this system is modular with a wide range of photovoltaic ballasts (from 3° to 30°), and it is constructed by positioning the ballasts in opposing pairs.
In addition to increasing exposure hours to sunlight and the level of resistance to weather conditions, the dual orientation of the photovoltaic panels allows for the rows to be placed close together, eliminating distances between modules and optimizing the roof surface to the fullest.
