Industrial sheds and commercial establishments often offer large flat surfaces suitable for the realization of photovoltaic systems, and the overall efficiency of installations often depends on the support structures used: the possibility of adapting the arrangement of the panels to the coverage geometries depends in fact above all on the flexibility of the support systems, and Sun Ballast solutions represent from this point of view a real reference.
Indeed, the Standard 10° system used for this installation made it possible to manage all obstacles in the best possible way, easily modulating the distance between rows of panels and reducing installation time by more than 30 percent. The installation of the ballasts – not requiring any fixing holes – was also carried out in total safety, not damaging the sheathing on the roof in any way, and making the various installation phases much simpler and faster.
Available in numerous versions – from 0 to 30° – Sun Ballast’s Standard system represents a simple and flexible solution, which can be successfully used in both small residential systems and larger ones built on the roofs of commercial buildings: the one visible in the photo was installed in Sandrigo (VI) by our customer Powersol, and generates as much as 110 kWp of clean energy.
