105 kWp

Already used on thousands of industrial buildings, Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic structures allow for the creation of photovoltaic systems that significantly reduce mounting times and simplify the installation process. The concrete ballasts for photovoltaics do not require any roof penetration, ensuring the protective characteristics of all types of roofing materials, including membranes.
The 105 kW system visible in the photo was installed in the province of Venice by our client Next Italia srl using the Connect 10° system, a mounting system where each photovoltaic structure is connected to all others in a single reticular system. This configuration enables the use of lighter structures while still providing high wind resistance and perfectly balanced load distribution.
The system is available with tilt angles of 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, and 30°, and can be installed on any type of flat surface: gravel, membranes, concrete, pavements, and green roofs. The ballasts that comprise this system—like all Sun Ballast structures—also contain M8 fixation bushings and a metal core for extra reinforcement.
