147 kWp
11°°
“High performance” is the statement that best describes this wonderful photovoltaic system capable of producing up to 147 kWp of renewable energy built on the flat roof of a hotel complex in Spain.
The help of the Sun Ballast Technical Department was essential for this installation. To better achieve the production needs that our customer had in mind, careful calculations were made regarding the size of the available surface, its obstacles and the consequent shading. Considering the layout of the building and the available area for the installation, our technicians opted for the 11° Sun Ballast Vela system, and in other areas where there was less space available and more versatility was needed, the Standard system was chosen.
The first, namely the Vela system, is perfect for producing a lot of energy in small spaces: in fact its main advantage is the optimization of space. Due to its sail-like shape, the panels are laid consecutively from 3 to 6 rows according to the inclination, which is why the space that is usually left between one row and the other need not be left free for the shadows that otherwise would be created. The second, the Standard, due to its modularity is ideal for circumventing obstacles on the roof.
With Sun Ballast weights our customer MULTISISTEMAS ENERGÍAS EFICIENTES S.L. managed to achieve the expected production objectives to create an efficient, resistant and solid photovoltaic system.
