Who said that building a domestic photovoltaic system on the ground is difficult or almost impossible? With Sun Ballast photovoltaic module supports it is simple and the installation created by our customer Modus Green Energy S.R.L. is an example of this, only small ground preparation measures.
As it is possible to see from the photos, in the photovoltaic system in question the Vela Sun Ballast system was used with inclined ballasts of 11°.2 and 11°.3, a system known and chosen by many of our customers because it optimizes space and maximize production.
For installations in close contact with the ground, the weight of the structure supporting the panels does not represent a limit, rather attention should be paid to other elements such as the preparation of the surface so that the stresses suffered over time do not impact in the future on the installation.
Our client cleaned the ground using excavation or scouring, laid a non-woven fabric sheet over the leveled ground and finally concluded by compacting everything with gravel, no cement casting was necessary.
The result is a beautiful, as well as efficient, 6 kwp domestic photovoltaic system of renewable energy.
