Sun Ballast’s concrete weights for photovoltaic panels have been used for over ten years by thousands of industry professionals, making all mounting phases much simpler and faster. Sun Ballast weights do not require any anchoring, and the fixation of the photovoltaic panels occurs without penetrating the roof.

The 99 kW system visible in the photo was installed in Desenzano sul Garda by our LB Bresciani Lorenzo on the flat roof of a well-known supermarket, and thanks to the Connect 15° mounting system, it was possible to achieve the best balance between wind resistance and load on the building. The reticular structure of this system allows for weight distribution and mechanical stress across the entire network of weights, balancing loads and providing the panels with extremely robust support even in the event of severe disturbances.

The Connect system is available with tilt angles from 5° to 30°, can be installed on any type of flat surface, and is compatible with the supplementary U-Block weights (visible in the photo). Like all Sun Ballast structures for photovoltaics, those used in this installation also contain M8 bushings, ensuring the end customer the maximum reliability of the system.
