21 kWp
10°
Made in Switzerland (in Boncourt) by our client Hubert Jolissaint SA, this photovoltaic system on a flat roof with a membrane was installed with Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, and the mounting was completed without any difficulty. The concrete ballast weights allow the system to be installed without making any drilling in the roof of the building, thus preserving all the protective characteristics of the building’s coverage.
As shown in the photo, in this case, the Sun Ballast weights were placed on a flat membrane surface, positioning the panels in an East-West direction: this configuration allows for the free adjustment of both the length and distance between the rows based on the available roof space, and it makes it easier to manage any obstacles that may be present.
For this 21 kW photovoltaic system, the 10° tilt version was selected (other versions are available with tilt angles of 3°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30°), and the East-West orientation allowed the entire surface to be fully utilized. Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballast systems, those used for this installation contain M8 fixation bushings and an extra-reinforced metal bar.
