An efficient, modular and quick to install system, perfect to optimize at best all the spaces available on the roof while adjusting the configuration of the photovoltaic system according to specific customer needs: the Sun Ballast Sail System – available in both 5- and 11-deck versions. – ensures high levels of productivity, and is effective both for PV systems built on small surfaces such as residential terraces, both for medium and large installations positioned on the wide roofs of industrial plants.

Made by our customer Green Effect, the plant visible in the picture was mounted in Megara – a small coastal town a few tens of kilometers from Athens – and considered the exposure to the winds typical of coastal areas, Two special Sun Ballast accessories have been integrated into the Sail 11 system. Additional “U” weights and the innovative Cablowind system.

Applicable both in pairs and individually, these two elements significantly increase the overall stability of the system, and are installed with great ease without drilling any hole.

The bushings for fixing the Cablowind system’s aluminium guides are already pre-loaded into the weights, and the additional weights simply need to be supported.

Simplicity and speed of assembly have always been the hallmarks of Sun Ballast solutions, and the Vela system used in this 14.8 kwp plant has guaranteed the best level of efficiency and productivity.
