Every flat surface can be the right one to start producing in a green way, and why not take advantage of the space available on a tunnel in the middle of a freeway surrounded by the Austrian mountains? This is exactly what our customer GLS Energie GmbH did when he created this beautiful and evocative installation using all the characteristics of Sun Ballast systems.

Ease and speed of installation and maintenance, the possibility of laying the supports without having to drill holes on the cover and a strong resistance to wind actions, were the main features that have allowed the construction of a plant not only efficient but also able to respond in a timely manner to the problems of the territory, as can be the abundant snowfall. The Standard 5° system with an inclination of 5° and with a height from the ground of 56 cm, in the back, and 47 cm, in the front, it can in fact respond in the best way to this type of eventuality facilitating the removal of snow. An installation not only capable of producing up to 162,72kWp of renewable energy but also functional and beautiful!
