This 8 kW photovoltaic system was installed by our client Global Sistem on the flat roof of a residential building in Rimini, and the use of Sun Ballast support structures made the installation significantly faster.

The ballasted racking systems for photovoltaics require no complex metal components and consist of a single concrete element. Thanks to the pre-assembled structures, installation times are minimized, making the process much simpler. Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic supports also require no penetration; you simply place the ballast and fix the panel to the pre-inserted bushings in the concrete.

The Single-Row system – used here in the 20° version – is available with tilt angles from 0° to 30°, allowing panels to be fixed on the long side, and it is compatible with numerous accessories, such as the Cablowind system (visible at the back of the structures). Cablowind combines both additional weight functionality and cable management in a single component, maximizing wind resistance in a simple and quick manner, thereby making the installation more stable, organized, and professional.
