13 kWp
15°
Installed in Südsteiermark (Germany) by our client FERK Elektrotechnik, this photovoltaic system was implemented on the flat roof of a house with membrane roofing, and thanks to the Sun Ballast East-West 15° system, the installation was carried out easily, quickly, and professionally. Requiring no anchoring holes, the structures for photovoltaic panels can be quickly placed on any type of surface (gravel, concrete, pavement, membrane roofing, etc.), reducing installation times and simplifying all mounting phases.
The 13 kW system visible in the photo was built with one of the many versions of the East-West system: this system is indeed modular with a wide range of photovoltaic weights (from 3° to 30°), and is installed by positioning the weights in opposing pairs. In addition to increasing exposure hours to sunlight and the level of resistance to weathering, the dual orientation of photovoltaic panels allows for aligning the rows closely, eliminating distances between modules and maximizing the entire roof surface.
A significant advantage, especially useful when – as often occurs on terraces or flat roofs of residential buildings – the space dedicated to the photovoltaic system is rather limited, and it is necessary to optimize all spaces to the fullest.
