When the goal is to ensure maximum weather resistance for flat roof photovoltaic installations, Sun Ballast’s Connect system represents the ideal solution: the connection of each photovoltaic ballast in a single grid allows for the use of lighter structures, reducing both the loads on the roof and transportation costs, while ensuring extremely high wind resistance.

The unique grid configuration also allows for perfectly balanced load distribution, while the absence of fixing holes ensures simple and fast installation on all types of flat surfaces. The nearly 7 kW installation visible in the photo was carried out in France by our client Etera, and the presence of a portion of green roof posed no problem at all: the photovoltaic ballasts of the Connect 15° system were simply placed on the vegetation layer, simplifying all installation phases and ensuring high resistance to all weather conditions for the PV modules.

Thanks to the pre-inserted M8 bushings in the structure, even the attachment of the photovoltaic panel is done quickly, and the wide range of inclinations available for the Connect system (from 5° to 30°) allows for the selection of the most suitable ballast model for the specific needs of the installation.
