At the seaside, on the beautiful island of Ischia, this installation was built by our customer Esse Solar thanks to the Standard Sun Ballast system with a 5° inclination.
As you can see from the photos, the plant was installed on a flat surface covered with sheathing, a particular surface used to create a waterproof layer that can protect the structure from infiltration and wear and tear.

On this surface, the Sun Ballast structures are particularly suitable because it is absolutely not necessary to drill holes in the cover to fix them: this prevents the waterproofing action of the sheath from being compromised.

And not only that: the ballasts of the Standard system are particularly suitable for installation on surfaces with a large amount of obstacles. This is because it is simple to adapt them to the structure of the roof surface and its peculiarities simply by interrupting the rows. Thanks to all the benefits of Sun Ballast systems, this 19.8 kWp renewable energy plant was successfully realized.
