Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel mounting structures offer professionals in the sector numerous advantages, starting with the simplification of all installation phases. The concrete ballasts require no fixation and ensure the preservation of all protective characteristics of the roofing materials.

The 500 kW photovoltaic system shown in the photo was installed in San Giorgio delle Pertiche (Padua province) by our customer, Errem Impianti, on a large flat membrane roof. The Connect 10° system provided the modules with exceptional stability.

This reticular structure of the photovoltaic panel racking system ensures the distribution of weights and mechanical stresses across the entire ballast network, balancing loads evenly over the roof’s surface. The patented Connect system tested in wind tunnels is available in various versions with tilt angles ranging from 5° to 30° and can be installed on any type of flat-roofed building.

As with all Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts, those used in this system come pre-equipped with M8 bushings for clamp fixation, guaranteeing the highest levels of safety and reliability.
