Installed in Austria by our client Enerix, this rooftop photovoltaic system was completed using Sun Ballast support structures. Thanks to their simplicity, the mounting operations were carried out much more quickly.
The ballasted racking systems for photovoltaic panels require no fixation holes and can be easily placed on any material. In this case, the ballasts were positioned on a flat concrete surface with an East-West orientation. The structures that make up the Single-Row system can be arranged in various configurations, allowing for flexible adjustment of row spacing, exposure, and fixation side.
In this 8 kW PV system, the modules were fixed on the long side (portrait orientation), and adjusting the row lengths and spacing allowed for optimal management of the many obstacles present on the roof. Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, those used in this installation contain pre-inserted M8 bushings and a metal core for extra reinforcement, making them compatible with numerous accessories.
