Simple, flexible and easily modular, but also solid, reliable and suitable for any type of system: the Sun Ballast Standard system is able to offer the best result in any situation.
Whether it is a small system on a paved terrace or – as in this case – an installation of over 100KWp on a large area of an industrial plant, the Standard system will in any case guarantee a stable, high-quality and mounted quickly.
In fact, the innovative Sun Ballast support structures do not require any type of fastening; instead they are only placed against the roofing, avoiding damaging it and making the installation phase much easier and faster. The panels are then mounted smoothly: the ballasts already contain the fixing bushings inside them, and the maximum tightness is certified by dozens of tests carried out in the wind tunnel.
The system visible in the photo was built in Macomer (Sardinia) by our customer Energy Future, and in agreement with the Sun Ballast Technical Office, the photovoltaic system was mounted keeping an inclination of 10°. The inclination is undoubtedly one of the fundamental elements that determine the productivity of a plant, and the flexibility of the Standard system is also expressed in this: the ballasts are in fact available in a vast range of inclinations, from 0° to 30°, and maximum efficiency is guaranteed in all situations.
