Low load per square meter and high resistance to weather conditions: the Connect system by Sun Ballast offers the highest level of reliability for photovoltaic systems on flat roofs and ensures high wind resistance for PV modules. In this system, each ballast is connected to all the others in a single grid, distributing the loads of the system along the entire roof.

The 140 kWp photovoltaic system visible in the photo was installed in Keila (Estonia) by our client Energiapartner. The installation was carried out on the flat, membrane-covered roof of a large industrial warehouse, and the Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel structures made the installation phases much simpler and faster, requiring no anchor holes and minimizing assembly times.

The Connect system (used here in the 15° version) is available with inclinations from 5° to 30° and consists of three different structures for photovoltaic panels: a front ballast, a central ballast, and a terminal ballast. Like all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts, those of the Connect system also contain the M8 fixing inserts within them and are guaranteed for 25 years.
