4.5 kWp
10°
This small 4.5 kWp photovoltaic system was installed by Energia e Ambiente Srls on a flat roof in Sinnai (CA) using Sun Ballast photovoltaic panel structures. The concrete ballasts offer many advantages, starting with their simplicity: installation does not require any drilling on the roof, the M8 bushings are already pre-inserted into the structure, and laying is quick and easy on any type of flat surface. The Single-Row 10° system also allowed for freely laying the ballasts, adjusting both the length of the rows and the distance between them without constraints. This is a significant advantage, simplifying installations even on roofs with many obstacles (chimneys, fans, skylights, etc.).
The photovoltaic ballasts of the Single-Row 10° system also allow panels to be fixed both in landscape and portrait orientation, giving designers and installers the option to choose the most suitable fixing method based on the characteristics of the system and the building.
Stability and wind resistance were finally ensured by integrating the ballasts with the Cablowind system, visible on the rear of the structures: once again, installation required no drilling, and the metal guides into which the concrete channel was laid were directly fixed to the bushings already present on the back of the ballasts. Usable both as additional weight and as a channel for electrical cables, Cablowind further reinforced the system’s stability, offering the end customer the highest level of reliability and safety.
