Designed to effectively meet the concrete needs of designers and installers of systems on flat roofs, the photovoltaic ballasts of the Single-Row system offer a simple and versatile solution, even when systems are installed on small residential spaces like the one visible in the photo.
The 4.2 kWp system was installed by our client Elos Srl on the flat roof of a residence along the beautiful Sardinian coast, in Quartu Sant’Elena, and thanks to the Sun Ballast Single-Row 15° system, installation was carried out with great simplicity: the system is available in numerous versions – from 0° to 30° of tilt – and allows for quickly adjusting both the length and distance between the rows of panels, easily adapting the configuration of the PV system to that of the roof. The photovoltaic ballasts are also placed on the roof without making any fastening holes, completely avoiding issues related to possible leaks while ensuring high wind load resistance.
All Single-Row system photovoltaic structures also allow panels to be fixed both horizontally and vertically, offering installers the possibility to choose the most suitable type of fastening for the system. The U-Blocks – the additional weights visible on the ballasts – further increased the stability of the PV modules, ensuring the panels’ maximum level of grip and safety.
