Used by installers and designers of photovoltaic installations worldwide, Sun Ballast’s mounting systems for photovoltaic panels greatly simplify both the design and installation phases. The photovoltaic structures are simply placed without the need for roof penetration, ensuring exceptional resistance to weather conditions.

The 37 kW installation visible in the photo was completed in the province of Prato by our client EcoHabitat using the Industrial-XL 5° system, a reticular system in which each photovoltaic structure is connected to all others in a single network. This configuration not only maximizes wind resistance but also balances the weight distribution across the entire roof surface.

The concrete ballasts for photovoltaics that make up the Industrial-XL system are also compatible with the latest generation modules: the four-point fixation on the long side provides secure and durable support, even for the largest panels, and the vertical positioning (portrait) optimizes shading management and the resulting performance of half-cut modules.

Like all concrete ballasts for photovoltaic installations from Sun Ballast, those in the Industrial-XL system also already contain the M8 bushings and a metal rebar reinforcement.
