Used in over 30 countries thanks to a growing distribution network, Sun Ballast mounting systems for photovoltaic panels are ideal for both flat roof and ground-mounted installations, simplifying every phase of assembly. Ground-mounted ballast systems require no anchoring to the ground and ensure high stability even in extreme weather conditions.

This 200 kW ground-mounted photovoltaic system – installed by our client Dimeo-Energie in Araules (France) – was built using the 30° version of the Single-Row 30° system, one of the many configurations available. The Single-Rpw system also comes in 0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 15°, and 20° tilt angles, allowing for easy adjustments to both the length and the spacing between ballast rows.

Sun Ballast mounting systems can be used on any type of flat surface, including compacted soil, green roofs, gravel, membranes, and concrete. Each structure incorporates a metal core for extra reinforcement and pre-installed M8 bushings for panel fixation. Once the structures are arranged as per the project design, simply place the panels and secure them with the clamps provided by Sun Ballast.
