Developed to maximize space efficiency in flat roof photovoltaic installations, the Sail system by Sun Ballast allows for the consecutive positioning of module rows, eliminating spacing and shading issues while making both design and installation significantly faster.

Like all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts, the ones used in this system require no roof penetration and can accommodate modules of any size, including the latest-generation large panels. In this 6 kW photovoltaic system – installed in Acerra (Naples) by our customer Dim Solution srl – the Sail 5° system was enhanced with No-Flex, a specialized accessory that includes an additional ballast and a reinforced metal bracket. This setup provides two extra support points, securing the module at its center and eliminating the risk of panel flexion.

The No-Flex Kit is designed for all landscape-oriented installations and meets the support parameters recommended by panel manufacturers. Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, the ones used in this system include pre-installed M8 bushings, ensuring a quick and easy installation on any flat surface.
