The Sun Ballast Vela system is becoming increasingly popular among clients wishing to make the most of small roofs of condominiums or apartment buildings.

One of our private customers chose these ballasts to independently produce clean energy with a photovoltaic system. The space that he had available to build the system was the small, gravel-covered flat roof of a private garage.

Due to its small size, as you can see from the following photos, the best solution was our Vela system with 5° inclination of the photovoltaic panels. The objective of these installations on areas of limited size is to make the most of the space available to meet the customer’s power production goals: this is one of the main advantages of the system used, as it is possible to install up to 6 rows of ballasts consecutively without leaving free space between the different rows of panels.

In this way, the perfect solution proposed by Sun Ballast allowed our customer to create a photovoltaic system capable of producing up to 8 kWp of renewable energy.
