19.2 kWp

When we say that Sun Ballast’s ballasts for photovoltaic modules are versatile and adapt to any space, it is really true and the photovoltaic installation created by our client Cotti&Marchi srl on this small flat space of a condominium in Bologna is the perfect example .
In the case of the photovoltaic system in question, our technical office chose to use the single-row ballasts of the Standard system with an inclination of 5°.
The Standard system is the most versatile of all and was designed to be installed on all types of flat surfaces such as: sheathing, gravel, green roofs and floors and to easily get around all the obstacles on the roof. Furthermore, the Cablowind accessory by Sun Ballast was also used, a single element with a double function: it allows the correct accommodation of the cables by acting as a channel and increases wind resistance by acting as additional ballast.
The result obtained by our customer is surprising, despite the rather limited space, he managed to create an efficient photovoltaic system capable of producing up to 19.2 kWp of clean energy.
