In terms of versatility, the Sun Ballast Standard system is truly a guarantee: the possibility of easily adjusting the length, orientation and distance between the rows makes it possible to achieve maximum freedom of installation, optimizing the management of spaces on the roof and significantly reducing installation times.
Like all Sun Ballast solutions, the Standard system also does not require any fixing holes, and the integrity of the surfaces is guaranteed even in the presence of particularly delicate materials: the sheath of this villa in Vieille-Toulouse (France) has remained perfectly intact, ensuring the building the best level of impermeability and protection.
However, the versatility of the Standard system also derives from another fundamental characteristic: the wide range of inclinations available. The Standard is in fact available in versions ranging from 0° to 30°, offering installers and designers the possibility of selecting the height from the surface that best suits the specific needs of the project.
For this system with 18 panels and 7 kWp of generated power, the Sun Ballast Technical Office also suggested to Combis Architecte to integrate the ballasts of the Standard 30°.1 system with the Cablowind system; the innovative additional weight developed by the Sun Ballast Research and Development department makes it possible to increase the solidity and resistance of the system, balancing the loads and also improving the aesthetic quality: Cablowind also acts as a conduit, and the positioning of the electric cables it is more orderly, simple and professional.
