12 kWp
20°
This 20 kW photovoltaic system was installed by our client Codespa s.r.l. on a flat roof with a membrane, and thanks to Sun Ballast’s mounting systems for photovoltaic panels, the installation was completed with great ease. The concrete weights for photovoltaics do not require any anchoring holes, and the fixation of the PV panels occurs without penetrating the roof: this way, the assembly phases are extremely simplified, and the installation can be easily carried out without damaging the membrane.
The Single-Row 10° racking system used for this installation also allows for adjustments in both length and spacing between rows, greatly simplifying the management of roof obstacles. The concrete weights for the Single-Row system are available in a wide range of tilt angles (from 0° to 30°) and allow for the fixation of PV modules on both the long and short sides.
Like all structures for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs, those of the Single-Row 10° system contain M8 bushings and a metal core/rebar reinforced bar for extra stability and are compatible with numerous accessories: visible in the photo are both the supplementary U-Block weights (30 kg) and the Cablowind system, a concrete channel positioned at the back of the weights that enhances wind resistance and facilitates the management of electrical cables.
