15 kWp
10°
This 15 kW photovoltaic installation was carried out by Borelli Impianti on the flat roof of a building in Turin. The use of Sun Ballast’s ballast systems for photovoltaic panels simplified the installation process, reducing costs and time.
The ballast systems consist of a single concrete element, without complex metallic parts; Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures also do not require any roof penetration for anchoring. Simply place the concrete ballast, secure the panel to the M8 bushings pre-inserted in the concrete with the provided clamps, and proceed with the electrical connections.
The single-row system used on this building—here in the 10° version—is also available with tilt angles of 0°, 5°, 15°, 20°, and 30°. As shown in the photos, it allows panels to be fixed even on the longer side (portrait), adhering to the support parameters outlined in the module mounting manuals. The ability to freely adjust both the length and spacing between rows makes this system especially quick to install, even when numerous roof obstacles are present.
