Designed for any type of photovoltaic system on flat surfaces, Sun Ballast mounts/blocks simplify and speed up all phases of mounting. This patented and wind tunnel-tested photovoltaic structure requires no fixation holes and ensures extremely high wind resistance for the modules.

The 54 kW photovoltaic system shown in the picture was installed in Romano d’Ezzelino (Vicenza) by our customer Bonaldo Group using the Connect 15° system. This mounting system for flat roofs connects each support structure into a single interconnected network. This configuration allows for the use of lighter and more easily maneuverable ballasts, while also distributing the wind loads and the weight of the system evenly across the entire building coverage.

The system is available with a range of tilt angles from 5° to 30° and can be used on any type of roofing material, including membrane, gravel, pavement, and green roofs. Like all Sun Ballast blocks, those in the Connect system include M8 bushings for fixation, a metal core/rebar reinforcement, and come with a 25-year warranty.
