Small photovoltaic systems installed on buildings in urban centers represent an increasingly crucial resource: roofs and residential terraces often cover limited areas, but multiplying them by the thousands (or millions) of homes in cities, the total extent achieved is truly remarkable.
For this reason, the ecological transition also passes through the efficiency of urban centers, starting with progressive energy independence: Sun Ballast structures contribute to the achievement of this important goal, and the solutions developed in more than ten years of experience in the field ensure that installers of photovoltaic systems can easily and quickly install them on any type of flat surface, even on tiled roofs and terraces such as the one visible in the photo.
This 3.4 kWp system was installed in Mesagne – in the province of Brindisi – by Bell Fix Plus: the Standard 10° system supplied by Sun Ballast made it very easy to adjust the distance between the two rows of panels, and being simply supported the ballasts kept the pavement perfectly intact. To best optimize the space dedicated to the system, the panels were also fixed vertically, and the support structures ensured the highest level of wind tightness, stability and efficiency.
