6 kWp
15°
This small 6 kW flat roof photovoltaic system was built by Airtec in Vedene (France) using Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures. The ballasts do not require any holes in the roof, the M8 bushings are pre-inserted into the structure, and the installation is easy and fast on any type of building. The use of this system also allowed for unrestricted adjustment of both the row lengths and the distances between them, greatly simplifying the installation phases.
The Single-Row system 15° photovoltaic weights – also available with inclinations of 0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 20°, and 30° – allow the panels to be fixed both in landscape and portrait orientation, offering professionals the possibility to choose the most suitable fixing method based on the characteristics of the system and the building. To further increase stability and wind resistance, the Cablowind system was added to the weights, a special concrete channel that acts both as an additional weight and as a housing for electrical cables.
Even for Cablowind, the installation did not require any holes, and the metal guides in which the channels are placed are fixed directly to the bushings already inserted into the back of the photovoltaic structures. The use of Cablowind has thus further strengthened the safety of the system, offering the end customer the highest level of reliability.
