In beautiful and charming Croatia, our customer Solar Projekt d.o.o turned to Sun Ballast for their photovoltaic system.

The space available for this project was a small, flat gravel roof, so our Technical Department recommended the Vela Sun Ballast system with a 5° inclination and the addition of Cablowind, a dual function accessory: it acts both as an additional weight for improved wind resistance and as a conduit for the correct accommodation of the cables.

The Vela system, having no space between the rows and therefore offering the option to mount the panels consecutively, allows you to make the most of the limited space while still reaching maximum power: this is one of its main advantages, as well as being easy and quick to assemble.

With the inclination of 5° up to six consecutive rows can be mounted, eliminating unnecessary space between the rows. This does not mean, however, that the system is not versatile, since the rows of ballasts can be easily interrupted to adapt flawlessly to the roof and to avoid any obstacles present.

Our solution has allowed the construction of a plant capable of producing up to 9 kWp of clean energy in very little space.
