Sun Ballast ballasts were the only logical choice for the realization of this photovoltaic plant, on the flat and obstacle-ridden roof of a residential building.
Our client’s choice was the Standard system, with an inclination of 10°. This highly versatile system boasts a range of inclinations from 0° a 35°, and also offers the possibility of a very free-form installation of the solar panels. It is also the ideal system for easily circumventing obstacles, since the ballasts can be installed independently.
In the case of this installation in Northern Italy, created by our customer Tecnoimpianti Costruzioni S.r.l, the gravel on the roof was added at a later time – not only for aesthetic reasons but also to offer greater resistance and stability to the photovoltaic plant. This is, however, not the only way our ballasts can be installed on a gravel-covered roof: they can also be placed directly on top of the gravel surface without compromising the plant’s stability, and without the need to affix the ballasts to the roof surface.
The high-performance Standard system supports made the construction of this beautiful photovoltaic system possible. This plant is capable of reaching production targets of 11.16 kWp.
