Realized in San Gwann (Malta) by our client Elextrofix Group Malta, this photovoltaic system was installed using Sun Ballast mounting systems, the installation process was both easy and fast.
Thanks to the innovative design of our concrete support structures, which do not require any roof penetration. By simply resting on the surface, they preserve the protective integrity of the building coverage, including membranes and other materials.
In this case, the ballasts were installed on a flat roof with a membrane covering. The advanced EasyWest system ensured exceptional wind resistance while simultaneously reducing the roof load.
The system’s reticular structure allows the modules to be fixed on their long side, creating an interconnected racking system. This design evenly distributes atmospheric stresses across the entire surface and optimizes weight distribution for greater stability and reduced loads. The visible installation achieved a power capacity of 285 kW. Thanks to the East-West orientation at a 10° tilt angle, shading is minimized, ensuring consistent energy performance throughout the day.
