Already used in over 50,000 photovoltaic installations worldwide, Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic mounting systems allow for faster installation, simplifying every step of the process. The ballasted racking systems for photovoltaic panels require no roof penetration, whether for installations on flat roofs of buildings or ground-mounted systems, and ensure high resistance to all weather conditions.

The 71 kW PV plant shown in the picture was installed in the province of Trapani by our client 3EE S.r.l. using the Connect 15° system. This mounting system interlinks each ballast into a collaborative reticular system. This feature allows the use of lighter support structures by distributing wind loads and the weight of the entire installation evenly across the grid.

The system is available with tilt angles ranging from 5° to 30° and can be mounted on any type of flat surface, including ground. After proper ground compaction, the ground support structures for photovoltaic panels are simply placed, and the pre-installed M8 bushings within the concrete ballasts make module fixation easy, fast, and secure.
