This 50 kW photovoltaic system was installed by our client Elettricità Bronz SA on a beautiful condominium in Ascona, Switzerland. Thanks to the Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts, the installation was completed quickly and professionally, easily adapting the photovoltaic system layout to the roof’s characteristics.

Sun Ballast concrete ballasts do not require any anchoring holes (even on gravel surfaces) and can be freely moved and positioned anywhere on the roof. The Single-Row 5° mounting system used for this installation also allows for adjustment of both the length and spacing between module rows, making it much easier to manage the various obstacles on the roof. The Single-Row system structures are available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°) and allow modules to be mounted in either portrait (long side) or landscape (short side) orientation.

Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic mounting systems, the Single-Row 5° structures used on this building include pre-inserted M8 fixing inserts and an additional reinforcement bar, making the installation of PV systems on flat roofs much simpler and faster.
