Stability, reduced weight, and simple, quick installation: the concrete ballasts of the Sun Ballast Connect system offer photovoltaic panels a safe and reliable solution, especially when the goal is to ensure the best level of resistance to weather conditions for photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. In this system, each photovoltaic ballast is connected to all the others in a single network, distributing wind loads across the entire network of ballasts and generating very high resistance.
The 25 kW photovoltaic system visible in the photo was built in Saue (Estonia) by our customer Energiapartner: the installation took place on a portion of a flat roof covered with sheeting, and the Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures made the installation phases much faster, requiring no anchoring holes or the use of complex metal accessories.
The Connect system (shown here in the 15° version) is available in a wide range of inclinations from 5° to 30° and consists of three different ballasts: a front, a central, and an end ballast. All Sun Ballast solutions contain M8 fixing inserts and are guaranteed for 25 years.
