Exceptional wind resistance, reduced roof load, and zero damage to the flooring: the Connect system from Sun Ballast offers numerous advantages for designers and installers. The connection of each photovoltaic ballast into a single interconnected network allows for the use of lighter photovoltaic mounting structures, reducing roof loads and transportation costs. Wind resistance is extremely high, and loads are distributed evenly across the entire surface.

The 18 kW system shown in the photo was built in Ciampino (Rome) with the Connect 20° system by our client E-Nova Srl on the flat terrace roof of a residential building, and the presence of flooring was not an issue at all: Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts do not require any anchoring holes and rest on special protective pads. This way, installation is quick and safe even on the most delicate materials, without causing any damage to surfaces and simplifying all installation phases.

Thanks to the pre-inserted M8 sockets in the concrete of the photovoltaic ballast, fastening the PV module is also done quickly, and the various inclinations available for the Connect system (from 5° to 30°) allow for selecting the most suitable ballast model for the specific needs of the system.
