Simplicity and high construction quality: this 9.8 kWp flat roof photovoltaic system was realized with Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts, an extremely versatile solution that allows for simple and fast installations on any type of flat surface.

The system was installed by our client Lattoneria Maccabiani S.n.c. in Montichiari (Brescia) using the 10° version of the Single-Row system; the photovoltaic structures that make up this system are available in a wide range of models (from 0° to 30°) and do not require any roof drilling for fixing: Sun Ballast systems are simply placed, minimizing installation times and ensuring a high level of wind resistance. The concrete ballasts also allow for fixing the modules in both landscape and portrait arrangements (as in this case) and offer the possibility to freely adjust both the length of the rows and the distance between them, making the management of obstacles – such as chimneys, fans, and skylights – much easier and faster.

The Single-Row system is also compatible with numerous Sun Ballast accessories: in the photo, the U-Blocks are clearly visible, additional weights of 30 kg that are placed directly on the ballasts and allow to strengthen the system’s resistance in a few minutes (often applied to the ballasts most exposed to the wind, such as the perimeter ones).
